About Me
My name is TJ Simonik and I created Core Books LLC to focus on two pastimes I enjoy: bookkeeping and helping others. I live in Huntersville, NC, but I can serve you wherever you are located. I’m personable, detailed and organized. These qualities represent who I am at my core.
Why Me?
I like numbers and I like bookkeeping A LOT. I learned to balance my own checkbook when I was young through a toy called BankIt, the home checking account and money management system for kids. (Yes I did. Google it for an image from the early ’90s.) It should be no surprise that I went on to college at Ohio University and studied accounting and finance. Afterwards I earned my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials and have worked in various professional financial roles. Most recently I completed my Quickbooks Online Certification and Ben Robinson’s Bookkeeper Business Launch program so that I can serve you to best of my ability.
